Volunteer Opportunities
Family Star has multiple volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Here is a list of Family Star projects you could volunteer for:
- Improve and tidy up our facilities
- Landscape and beautify our outdoor green space
- Prepare an area for a Montessori playground
- Ready soil for a sustainable gardening project
- Help organize our annual Lunch with the Stars fundraising event
- Serve on our parent governance committee
- Become a community ambassador for Family Star at local events
- Support our monthly Family Nights
- Sponsor a family in need during the holidays
- Host presentations about Family Star for your friends and family
- Make Montessori materials for our classrooms
- Speak at our bi-monthly Walk Among the Stars gatherings

Parents
In addition to contributing towards many projects throughout the year, parents are encouraged to volunteer by participating on our Policy Council.
